Also today was a bitter sweet day as our cross border bearded collie had to visit the vet and neither DH or myself thought she would be coming home esp as she is 18 yrs old.
She is suffering from dimentia, peeing in the house and also collapsing alot as there is something wrong with her back legs.
So this morning before work I had tears as I said goodbye to her and emailed DH from work for updates, he had to take in at 10am and he emailed me at 11 to say she was home.
She has a urinary infection but is in no pain and for such an old dog is in good health, her back legs are weak because of old age, I can relate to that.
She is now on 2 lots of tablets one for the infection and one for her legs.

I hope your cute doggie feels better soon. some of those tablets do amazing things so hopefully she will feel a lot better on them.

I ma so sorry to hear about the dog, went through that with a few cats and they didn't come back home. @ in the past 6 months and I have one that is 17. It is so hard I know and patience gets thin. Maybe the meds will help, be positive!
That's sad - but 18 is a fabulous age. We lost ours at 10, and I still miss her so much. And that was 7 years ago! So I know how you're feeling. x
thanks for your lovely comment - the fabrics are gorgeous. I'm rediscovering some absolutely wonderful fabrics in trying to destash... I love doing commissions, and if I've got the fabric, that's no problem. I was actually thinking of posting pics on my blog of some fabrics to say people are free to choose, so you saying that has encouraged me to try and get organised and do that.
